Boston Uprising Colourhex on Joining The Overwatch League - "As a new player, I have a lot to prove, especially with the entire region of New Zealand and Australia looking at me as their representative."

Media day at the Overwatch League 2019 is a crazy experience. All 20 teams show up for FFA interview sessions where any one of twenty different outlets could talk to them. I got the chance to sit down with Boston Uprising President of Gaming Chris “HuK” Loranger and players Young-jin “Gamsu” Noh and Kelsey “Colourhex” Birse to talk about Season 2.

The following interview has been edited and condensed for clarity and length.

Jeff Yabumoto: Welcome back to Season 2, how does it feel to be here?

HuK: It’s good to be here. I’m not a huge fan of press days, not because the people aren’t great, just because I’d rather be doing other things. This is Colour’s first one, he’s having a little fun.

Colourhex: This is better than I thought it would be.

JY: Well, we’ve got a lot of new teams in the league, are you worried about any of them?

Colourhex: I think I’m the least qualified person to ask.

HuK: I don’t think they’re here right now, but I think Atlanta is going to be pretty good.
